Snehana means massage by Ayurvedic oils in specific Ayurvedic method. By this, Ayurvedic Oils get absorbed into the body and loosen up the Doshas. Based on location, Snehana can be classified as follows -

• a. Sarvaanga Snehana (Ayurvedic Full Body Massage)
• b. Shirobhyanga (Ayurvedic Head Massage)
• c. Paadaabhyanga (Ayurvedic Foot Massage)
• d. Mukhabhyanga (Ayurvedic Face Massage)

All types of Snehana are carried out by separate male and female therapists with medicated Ayurvedic oils.
